The customary standards of pallets and containers provide the dimensions: Every centimeter is expensive, an optimal packing density improves efficiency and excellent stackability is a must. Parts are often transported in overseas containers or need to be temporarily stored outdoors, so weather-resistance plays a role. The solution needs to be robust and reusable in order to establish a returnable cycle. And lastly, heavy and bulky doesn’t always mean hard-wearing – the work pieces have to withstand quite a bit while in transit, and only well-designed packaging can prevent losses.

Solution

The Bear carrier system offers superior efficiency with cost-effective solutions for work pieces of larger dimensions. Compared to metal solutions, the frame is lightweight, but its intelligent struts make it extremely flex-resistant. This means that the trays are stackable up to several meters even with heavier contents. The floor of the tray automatically seals underneath to protect from the elements. The configuration of the carrier surface, developed with the help of CAD programs, produces an outstanding packing density with precisely formed and stable nests for the work pieces. Forming to the exact millimeter and advance testing with 3D printing ensures that the parts are precisely fitted for transport.
