More than 30 metal and plastic executives followed Variotech’s invitation. Headlined with "Plastic is a solution to sustainability rather than a problem", Variotech’s management gave an insight into their own processes. The popular returnable tray solutions, state of the art recycling rate and the use of in-grade plastics that make recycling easy were topics of particular interest. In addition to that, CEO Benedikt Fleig answered a lot of questions on how Variotech implemented rapid prototyping with 3D printing, a digitalized shop floor or the first CO₂-neutral workpiece carrier.
